Greetings All!

First of all, I'm known as RenaissanceGuyMW, formerly RenaissanceGuyinPA before moving to N.D. in 2010. Apparently, it takes an Act of Congress to change your name here, so it's listed under an old one. I tend to like the renaissance moniker as I have a lot of varied interests and abilities, so it tends to say a lot more than simply a location. Okay, so that's out of the way, now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

I'm a male, late 50s, professional, living in the Upper Midwest (N.D. for five years, now Michigan), originally from the east coast - worked in New York City for many years in network television, but a Pennsylvania boy, born and bred!

I'm a bit of an eclectic soul, interested in film, copiuous reading (huge library), writing, painting, art and antique galleries, sailing, and most creative endeavors, as well as hard-core, progressive, left-wing politics! I'm so far to the left, I nearly fall off the planet when walking! LOL

I've been an actor, am an avid painter (mostly watercolors these days), television writer and producer, film director, and a few other interesting things to take up the time and occupy the mind. How about you?

Love to travel and see and experience new adventures. Plan on a return trip to the UK someday, followed by France, my ancestral homes in Scotland and Italy.

Also, to use the vernacular, this isn't my first rodeo. I lived with a transwoman for close to 20 years in the past, so I'm absolutely not looking for thrills and excitement (well, I guess that depends! LOL).
